It would have taken a brave man to predict these results after the first day’s play. The dynamic duo of Paul and John had edged a lead and were unassailable by midday on the Sunday. Meanwhile us less gifted individuals fought tooth and nail for points to the sound of Chris Jackson’s incessant calls for judges rulings. Thank you to our wonderful administration operative Mr. Andrew for his amazing handling of the draw. Also, our thanks to Andy at Firestorm for making us so welcome. Stay tuned for a resume of my own poor showing and plans for next year. Have a great Christmas all!
So, after the top three, in no particular order I give you the victors and the vanquished, the players and the vanished…………

Looks to have been a great event. Lovely armies as well. I’m jealous but I’m the wrong side of the pond to participate in such events

Well if ever you come back to the mother country! You’d be more than welcome! People sometimes travel thirty miles to come to one of our events!😝

Thanks at some point maybe… Distances over here ‘different’ though, and your comment made me smile. My local store is 15km away and I live in the center and it’s not even in the burbs of the city. That can take an hour to get too in traffic. I sometimes game at a friends which is over an hour and a half away on the motorway/highway for an evening. I nip somewhere which can be well over an hours highway driving and never leave the city. 🙂

Know what you mean- brother in law lived in Texas for a while and thought nothing of driving 300 mile round trip! Never short of people on this island!
