L’art de la Guerre Bristol Competition May 2017

Looking for something special in Clevedon?

Well look no further (than Bristol). That cheeky chappie Big Don McHugh has organised another sure fire weekend of mirth and wargaming merriment!

CLEVEDON WARGAMES CLUBL’ART DE LA GUERRE 25MM COMPETITON.

TO BE HELD AT B.I.G. in BRISTOL

ON THE WEEKEND OF 13th & 14th MAY 2017

All proceeds will be going to the charity –MacMillan Cancer Support

This is a singles event at a cost of £20.00 per player.

Armies from the Feudal Ages and Late Middle Ages periods, to a maximum of 225 points. List will be in a three commands format, with maximums and minimums of each troop type as a 200 point lists. Please use the official LDLG army list generator when submitting lists to donaldmchugh@btinternet.com

All lists must be sent and agreed by no later than 1st May 2014 (penalties will apply).

Basing and all measurements will be, an UD = 6cm.

Games will be played on 6’ x 4’ tables and all terrain must be provided by the players.

The competition will have 4 rounds, 2 each day and we will do our best to keep regular opponents apart on the Saturday. Please give details of your local club on your army list, to assist with this.

Timings for each round will be as follows;

Saturday

Round 1 – 10.15 am to 1.00 pm

Round 2 – 2.00 pm to 4.45 pm

Sunday

Round 3 – 10.15am to 1.00 pm

Round 4 – 2.00 pm to 4.45 pm

Please note the venue only does drinks and snacks, there is a MacDonalds nearby, but you may want to bring your own lunch.
