The Despertaferres Christmas Message

How lucky we are to be safe at home this Christmas. The children awoke at half past two, just as “Santa” trod on Himler the wife’s cat. For the next five hours my lady wife struggled to keep the boys in their room while Daddy wrestled with his conscience… I go up and help?…..or do I…….zzzzzzzzzzz. In my defence, she had only just returned in the early hours, having attended Midnight Mass.

Midnight Mass 1992

I must start this message with the customary thank you to you my loyal reader! Not for Despertaferres, the plea to ask for your support in the New Year. Those who have joined our movement in the last two years know what to expect, and over twenty thousand have now dropped in to read how Wargaming’s most politically sensitive site is progressing. This includes the viewer from Malaysia who keeps searching for saucy pictures of Serra Palin and arrives here!😡

I hope you are having an amazing Christmas and that 2017 continues to build on the amazing successes of last year. In no particular order, I would like to thank the following;

Bless you!

Yes that’s right; for all those useful idiots who thought that Russian bombs were falling on schools and hospitals whilst Allied bombs land on terrorists!

Trump for ending the reign of shame before it began again.

All of the above for defending the defenceless whilst the rest of the world looked on.

The producer of Time Commanders for bringing political correctness to wargaming.

Who needs Doctor Nussbacher anyhow?

Our new military advisor will hopefully be commenting on our battles in 2017.

A big thank you to our events team and anyone who has attended. To all those who have supported the writing team like a stable boy assisting a champion racehorse…..

But the biggest thank you, and wish for all the best in 2017, goes to sergeant Blackman- it doesn’t mean much but in the words of the Scottish freedom fighter, “James Atherton”,

” Well let’s go and fxxking start something!”

Merry Christmas to one and all!
