Stop press: entries close on 21st November!
Dear all,
You are cordially invited to Wales’ premier 25mm L’art de la Guerre competition on the 3rd and 4th of December at the excellently appointed Firestorm Games, Trade Street, Cardiff. Four games over two days against an international field of top LADG players and Andy Unwin! Two hundred point armies from lists dated before 1040 A.D.. Terrain and table cloths to be provided by competitors. Cost, a measly twenty pounds! Tickets available from the Firestorm Games website. Please send your lists to myself at plasgrug@hotmail.com by November 21st, and include initiative and breakpoint. Doors open at 9.30 on Saturday and 10.30 on the Sunday. This promises to be an excellent weekend of gaming and I do hope you can join us.
Count me in … just got to come up with a new army I can paint in time (maybe that nasty looking Carolingian) or it will have to be my ever victorious (but dull) EIRs again.

Grrrr that’s three months painting a Crusader LADG wasted…ho hum! What have you got against Chivalry? Suppose I’d better dig out the Myceneans and paint lots more chariots this time! Who’d be a Wargamer….

It’s your happy carefree attitude that keeps us all gaming! Hold on to your codpiece though, I’m putting together a number of one Dayer themed events and the first one is Lionheart! ( or Early Jihadist!👳🏼

First crusade genius- they would fit in, no need for apology but if you could shorten the curtose and remove the lozenge shape shields, it would be appreciated. I’m going for Baldwin the Leper king! Or Baldwin of Alleppo….or Baldwin of Playa Formentura!
